Detroit Speed and Engineering in partnership with Baer Brakes is pleased to announce the release of five an all-new brake kits covering a range of applications. First up, the Detroit Speed 14 Inch Rear Extreme +. This system features the mono block 6-piston, 6S caliper mounted to a 14″, 2-piece slot, drill, zinc plated rotor. The 6S caliper has D.O.T compliant dust and weather seals and uses the popular D1247 pad type. Rotors are pre-assembled with NAS high-grade stainless hardware.
Baer’s unique backing plate not only acts as a caliper mount, but also houses a modern 1-piece park brake shoe assembly. The 14″ Extreme+ fits most 18″ or larger wheels. Additional specifications include: rotor size/type: 14″ 2-piece. Piston count: 6 piston. Mono block pad type: D1247 (also known as DR11). Minimum wheel size: 18″. The kit also includes: calipers, rotor and hat assemblies, brackets, park brake assembly (no cables), and stainless braided brake hoses & system hardware.

This system features the S4 4-piston caliper mounted to a 13″, 2 piece slot, drill, zinc plated rotor. The S4 caliper has D.O.T compliant dust and weather seals and uses the popular DR1 or HB100 pad type. Rotors are pre-assembled with NAS high grade stainless hardware. Baer’s unique backing plate not only acts as a caliper mount, but also houses a modern 1-piece park brake shoe assembly. Stainless braided hoses are also included. The 13″ SS4+ fits most 17″ or larger wheels.
